Care Instructions

Your handmade garment deserves special care to ensure it lasts for years to come.

Washing

Hand Wash Recommended: Gently hand wash in cold water with mild detergent for best results.

Machine Wash: If machine washing, use cold water on a delicate cycle. Place garment in a mesh laundry bag for protection.

Avoid: Hot water, harsh detergents, and bleach.

Drying

Air Dry: Lay flat or hang to dry away from direct sunlight.

Avoid: Tumble drying, as heat can damage the delicate fabric.

Ironing

If needed, iron on low heat while garment is slightly damp. Use a pressing cloth to protect the fabric.

Storage

Hang or fold your kimono in a cool, dry place. Avoid storing in plastic bags – natural fabrics need to breathe!

Special Notes

Due to the handmade nature of our garments, some color variation or slight fading may occur over time. This is normal and adds to the unique character of your piece.
